Short Project: Gateways to Temple

           My short project was about creating gateways that would lead to a temple. The gateways had to be getting smaller and smaller every time until it reached the temple that was the center of the piece. As you can see my sketch of the temple is a triangle and I decide to make a triangle because I wanted the last gateway to reach the end of the temple with no other entrances but that one. So the temple is at the top because people are walking towards it and I wanted them to feel some time of closeness when they finally reach the temple that will be the last thing that they see when they enter the last gateway.
        The temple has 4 gateways each colored with a different color. I chose the colors that I did because I wanted to relate them to heaven because reaching a temple is like entering Jesus's house and the colors were to match the "heavenliness" of the temple. I was thinking also that as the people were reaching the temple, crossing by each gateway some harmonious music would be playing. This I believe will make people feel relaxed and calmed because they would know that they are entering a place full of happiness and peace and the music will help them realize that and feel it.
      Overall the gateways that I created and the shape that they are helps people to get to the only destination that they are going to which is the one in the top and the last people will see.
